Rene’ Hardee

Rockledge Tiny House Community

Rene’ Hardee is the current Florida State Chapter Leader for the American Tiny House Association, as well as being a scientist, a wife, a Mom of 2 small boys, and an avid Crossfitter in her spare time.

When Rene’s aspirations of having a Tiny House for her family weren’t allowed within the current regulations of her city, she advocated for change and convinced the city of Rockledge Florida to create a new zoning ordinance specifically allowing tiny houses!  In her first talk “No Experience Necessary”, hear her step-by-step approach to gaining Tiny House buy-in from City officials.

Now that Rene’ has approval for a Tiny House Community, the real work begins.  In her second talk “Building Little Rock”, Rene’ will discuss the current status of the Rockledge Tiny House Community, and the roller coaster ride of excitement and challenges she faces in bringing this innovative community to fruition.
