United Tiny House Association | About

The United Tiny House Association is bringing its popular, for-charity Tiny House Festival to the Volunteer State!

As like all our previous Tiny House Festivals, the 2017 Tennessee Tiny House Festival will have all the fun, excitement, entertainment, night-time concert, workshops and presentations by some of the biggest names in the tiny house movement, fire performances, children’s activities, fund raising for charities and the local community, FREE movies, and of course… ALL THE TINY HOUSES and MICRO HOMES for touring and viewing!

The 2017 Tennessee Tiny House Festival promises to be another of United Tiny House Association’s biggest and most exciting for-charity events to date.

Past events, such as the 2016 Florida Tiny House Festival, had 97 tiny structures, and the 2nd Annual Georgia Tiny House Festival had 57 tiny structures.

The 2017 Tennessee Tiny House Festival will be three days of tiny house tours, music, entertainment, over 2 dozen workshops & presentations, MANY vendors & tiny home builders, fire dancers, and more!

Also, the vintage campers will be returning!  Yes, the canned ham-style campers and micro Airstreams of the 40’s, 50’s, and 60’s will be in “Happy Camper Land” for everyone to see!

A number of skoolies (converted buses) are expected to be in attendance at “The School Yard” and be sure to visit the gypsy wagons, yurts and other special tiny homes in the “Bohemian Village”.  Private-owned tiny houses will be found in “Tiny House Town” and new model tiny homes will be on display, and for sale, from a number of professional builders in “Tool City”.

Unlike all the other Tiny House Festivals organized by the United Tiny House Association, the 2017 Tennessee Tiny House Festival is unable to allow pets to attend with their owners due to the event being held in a designated wildlife sanctuary (Audubon Acres).  We will, though, as we always do, be having the drawing for the Tiny Dog House on Wheels!  (For every 3 pounds of dry pet food dropped off you will receive a raffle ticket for the Tiny Dog House on Wheels.  Also, drawing tickets can be obtained for $5.00 donation.  All proceeds for the raffle go to local no-kill animal rescue programs.)

Additionally, “The Big Adventures of Tiny House Land” will be an area for young ones to enjoy story time with the reading of the children’s book “The Big Adventures of Tiny House” and to participate in other fun activities.

Friday, between the hours of 9AM-2PM, is open exclusively and FREE to students only, then gates open at 5PM-8PM for FREE to everyone.

On Saturday and Sunday, admission is $20.00 per day for ages 13 and older ($35.00 for a 2-day admission ticket) and gates open at 9AM.*

*Note: Children ages 12 and younger have FREE admission all weekend.  Plus, both active and retired military, law enforcement, EMTs, and fire fighters have FREE admission all weekend with a valid photo ID at the gate.

Additionally, anyone who is age 60 or older receives half-off the admission price at the gate with a valid photo-ID.

There is an outdoor concert on Friday night, plus additional live entertainment throughout Saturday and Sunday during the day.  Also, there will be outdoor movies and a bonfire on Saturday night.

Be sure to mark your calendars for a great Volunteer State vacation and plan to attend this family-friendly event, which promises to be three days of excitement, fun, inspiration, and of course… LOTS of tiny homes!
